The
Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts and the PACER Service Center
introduced the U.S. Party/Case Index (USPCI) to the public on November
17, 1997. The USPCI is a national index for the U.S. appellate,
district, and bankruptcy courts. The index serves as a locator
index for the users of the Federal Judiciary Electronic Public Access
services.
Therefore a nationwide search will determine whether or not
a party is involved in federal litigation. |
|
| Registered PACER users
access the system with their current login name and password. The
system may be accessed at the website for the USPCI at pacer.uspci.uscourts.gov ¹ The
cost for Internet access is 7cents per page of search results. |
