The United States Trustee Program (USTP) will maintain the official list of approved credit counseling agencies and approved personal financial management instructional course providers on their website at http://www.usdoj.gov/ust/eo/bapcpa/ccde/index.htm.*  The website will be updated a new agencies and/or providers are approved.

The USTP website main page will provide instructions on how to access the list of approved agencies/providers as well as the list of those districts where the USTP has issued a waiver because of an insufficient number of agencies/providers able to provide adequate services.  The list will be organized by judicial district.  For ease in locating the appropriate judicial district, they will be listed by state and will set forth the counties included in each.  The agencies/providers will be listed by name and primary business location and will include contact information, depending on services available and those desired by the client, such as in person, telephone, or internet.
